I find it refreshing to hear more and more of the public calling for greater accountability and responsibility.
However, To believe or enforce personal responsibility would be to destroy the whole special role of the social justice warriors, whose vision casts them in the role of rescuers of people treated unfairly by “society”.
These so called “Social Justice Warriors” are deemed by their ilk to be “sensitive” to the plights and needs of those they consider vulnerable. To be sensitive, as ideologically defined, requires that one not merely accept but “affirm” other people’s way of life or even “celebrate” diversity in general. Like other demands for “sensitivity,” this demand offers no reason—unless fear of being disapproved, denounced, or harassed is a reason. So the sensitive “social justice warriors” are nothing but mere cowards unable to think for themselves but follow the popular ideology promoted by the minority of the Day.
Furthermore I read comments on similar threads calling for people to buy guns, or other self defence/attack weapons.
Guns, knives, Batons, tasers or pepper sprays are completely inappropriate for the kind of sheep-like people the government envision or the orderly, prepackaged world in which they are to live.
When you are in mortal danger, you are supposed to dial 000, so that the police can arrive on the scene some time later, identify your body, and file reports in triplicate.
If you are under the impression that the legal system is there to help you then you require some more experience in the real world. The real world has been set up to reward the “social justice warrior” and the sensitive, by providing them employment as professional listeners, watchers and defenders, with no accountability for the actions of their wards.
If you want to exploit the system in place it is rather logical that you should seek either a role in crime, law or a “social justice warrior”. Just my opinion of course.
