The largest con in our recent history was the “welfare system” whereby they take a large amount of money from the people and flamboyantly give a small amount back to those easiest to manipulate, for the perpetuation of their own political and financial goals. When you’ve pulled off such a massive con, why wouldn’t you try some more.
In my observed and informed opinion the judiciary through its corruption and a virus of subjectivity won’t hold any of them accountable so it’s not like there are any consequences for their actions.
