People are our Power
Propaganda is to a democracy what the bludgeon of war has had to be historically to totalitarian states.
Before leaders have seized the control and sought that power to fit reality to their lies, their propaganda is its extreme contempt for facts as such, for in their opinion fact depends entirely on the power of men and women who can fabricate it.
We live in grave times, rising rates of suicide, mental illness, unemployment, homelessness and incarceration with very little debate on how to move forward. In my experience the freedoms of speech, expression and thought are under both judicial and physical attack.
Our own population stagnates through a lack of leadership, direction and vision.
I love my country but am dismayed by it current government.
One of the horrors of socialism, Marxist ideology, postmodernism and populism is not that bad people do bad things — they always do. It's that good people do horrible things thinking they are doing something great.
We are an advanced western society, our country developed wifi, the cochlear ear and the original antenna, and so many more, yet our children are not educated about the progressive advancements we have made not just to our own society but to civilisation as a whole.
We aren’t the lucky country, we’ve historically never had luck on our side, we’ve worked so bloody hard and clever that we have made an impact that far out produces every other population per capita on the planet today.
Our greatest resource is our people, our problems are human problems and it requires human, Australian ingenuity to solve them.
